Role Overview
This internship is designed for someone who wants to learn how marketing works inside a fast-moving cybersecurity startup. You will get hands-on experience creating social content, working alongside a real marketing team, and learning how to communicate complex technical ideas in plain language. No prior cybersecurity knowledge required—just curiosity, good writing instincts, and a willingness to learn. You will be guided, mentored, and given real work that ships.
Responsibilities
- Learn how to draft and schedule social content under the guidance of the marketing team
- Assist with posting and managing content across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and other channels
- Help track basic engagement metrics and learn how to interpret them
- Contribute ideas for posts, campaigns, and community engagement
- Shadow team members to understand how brand voice and content strategy are developed
Must-Have Qualifications
- A genuine interest in learning—this role is about growth, not just task completion
- Basic writing skills and the eagerness to improve them with feedback
- Reliable availability and good communication habits for a remote role
- Curiosity about technology and how companies communicate online
Nice-to-Have
- Any exposure to social scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Metricool, or similar
- Some experience with Canva or basic design tools
- Awareness of cybersecurity topics or B2B tech content
- Interest in short-form video, newsletters, or content strategy
